31st Molecules Webinar

Future Trends in Green Chemistry

Green chemistry is more and more an essential science for the development of chemical processes. In fact, it is becoming urgent to use processes that have little or no impact on our environment, our health and more generally our planet. The situation is alarming and green chemistry is a recent fundamental science to preserve life on earth. Green chemistry can be defined as the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use or generation of hazardous substances. Green chemistry must be applied across the life cycle of a chemical product, including its design, manufacture, use, and ultimate disposal. As a contrary of the cleaning treatment, green chemistry reduces pollution at its source by minimizing or eliminating the hazards of chemical feedstocks, reagents, solvents, and products.

This Webinar will present some new development in green chemistry concerning the use of natural products, renewable resources, biomaterials, the description of reaction in green solvent, etc but also green technologies for analysis or different kind of processing.
